Components of a Cartomiser

Most electronic cigarettes use a Cartridge / atomiser or a Cartomizer (which is an in-built atomiser in a cartridge). A cartomiser is a better system, as it is more economic, easier and quicker to use and/or refill.

The types of Cartomisers

Although the function of most cartomisers is the same (hold an e liquid that gets turned into a vapour when the battery gets activated), you can find different variations in size, colour, functionality, fittings and internal structure.

Also, different electronic cigarettes can only fit a specific type of cartomisers. The ones supplied by Soul Blu are interchangeable with any e-cigs version with a 510 thread such as eGo, Joye510, EM-RiVa, DSE510.

These are the types of cartomisers supplied by Soulblu NZ:

1.  NICOTINE PREFILLED CARTOMISERS

They are already prefilled with nicotine eliquid in three flavours: menthol, tobacco and marbro. The price for a pack of five (5) prefilled cartomisers is $16, which means that you will be spending $3.20 for which is in average equivalent to a pack of twenties.

2. EMPTY / REFILLABLE CARTOMISERS

These cartomisers have been designed to be refilled with nicotine eliquids by using a syringe. The amount of nicotine e liquid (in millilitres – ml) to fill the cartomisers with, varies depending on size and type.

     Small Ceramic Cartomisers

5pack price: $13.75 or $2.75each – Capacity: 1ml – When full equal: a pack of 20s, based on puff count.

Ecigs model: Soulblu Resolution, Soulblu Caballero

Refills: 5 to 10 times before its performance drop, it also depends on each person drawing style and viscosity and colour of nicotine e-liquid.

You require: refill kit to be able to put the nicotine e-liquid inside.

    Xlarge Ceramic Cartomisers

5pack price: $16.50 or $3.3each – Capacity: 1.8ml – When full equal: a pack of 25s based on puff count.

Ecigs model: Soulblu Caballero and Soulblu Resolution (Notice they fit the Resolution battery, but not the Resolution Charging Case)

Refills: 5 to 10 times before its performance drop, it also depends on each person drawing style and viscosity and colour of nicotine e-liquid.

You require: refill kit to be able to put the nicotine e-liquid inside.

     Clearomisers SB4 V3

Price: $14 each – Capacity: 1.6ml – When full equal: a pack of 25s based on puff count

Refills: 10 to 14 times before its performance drop, poor or no vapour is produced or start tasting burn; once that happens, the coil head need to be replaced. It also depends on each person drawing style and viscosity and colour of nicotine e-liquid.

Ecigs model: Soulblu Caballero.

The life of a Cartomiser.

Cartomisers don’t last forever, and from time to time they will require replacement.

Prefilled cartomisers need to be discarded once they are empty – The small version which fits the Soulblu Resolution are prefilled with 1ml nicotine eliquid, and equals a pack of twenties – The larger version which fits Soulblu Caballero holds 1.8ml and last up to a pack of 25 cigarettes.

Refillable cartomisers, tanks and clearomisers can be refilled for certain amount of times before you throw them away.
